BRIEF SUMMARY

Multisensory stimulation consists of a series of techniques through which visual, auditory and somatic stimuli are provided in a controlled environment, the Snoezelen spaces or rooms. Among other objectives, these interventions increase the level of relaxation of the person and provoke changes in their behaviour, acquiring new learning at a cognitive, communication, social skills and language level. This helps to reduce or inhibit behavioural problems, including aggression.
