BRIEF SUMMARY

Sensory integration therapy (SIT) is presented to work on aggressive behaviour in children with different disorders. This study aimed at determining the effects of SIT on aggressive behaviour in children with multiple disabilities. The statistical results indicated a high level of positive effects for the three variables: aggression towards property, physical aggression and aggression towards oneself. The fourth variable, verbal aggression, did not show a statistically significant difference between the mean values before and after the sensory-based intervention.
